For awarding the grades, the Board shall put all the passed students in a rank order and will award grades as follows :
- A-1 Top 1/8th of the passed candidates
- A-2 Next 1/8th of the passed candidates
- B-1 Next 1/8th of the passed candidates
- B-2 Next 1/8th of the passed candidates
- C-1 Next 1/8th of the passed candidates

Important points regarding CBSE Passing marks class 10th 2024
- All the other regional and foreign languages will be having the same pattern as English with 27 passing marks for theoretical examination and 7 marks for internal assessments.
- Some schools also provide options for AI and Information Technology for class 10th students, so their CBSE passing marks will be similar to that of computer application.
- Students keep in mind that 33% CBSE 10th board exam passing marks 2024 are required in aggregate. Along with it, they have to score 33% marks in both theory and practical/internal assessment individually.
