The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) started the VITEEE 2024 Counseling on May 3, 2024, after the declaration of VITEEE Result 2024. This year, counselling will be conducted in 5 phases. First of candidates will have to register for the VITEEE Counselling 2024 process through the official website of VITEEE Exam.
- After VIT Councelling registration, students will have fill their choices.

VITEEE Counselling Procedure 2024
The VITEEE counselling process 2024 will be done in online mode through the official website. Candidates need to follow some steps to complete the VITEEE 2024 Counselling process. All the following steps must be followed by the candidates during VITEEE Online Counselling 2024.
Step 1 – VITEEE Counselling Login:
The first step of VITEEE Counselling Process 2024 is VITEEE Counselling login. Note that, only those candidates can apply for VITEEE Counselling 2024, whose names are present in the VITEEE Rank list 2024. So, it would be better for candidates to check their name on the VITEEE Rank List. The eligible candidates have to login on the official portal with their VITEEE Application Number 2024 and password to apply for VITEEE 2024 Online Counselling.
Step 2 – Choice filing and fees payment:
After logging in, candidates have to fill the choices of courses, institutes and categories. Candidates will be able to change their choices before ending the deadline. Candidates are suggested to fill at least 25 choices. And before submitting the choice filling, candidates should check their choices once. Candidates need to a pay Rs 5000 known as the VITEEE counselling fee.
Step 3 – VITEEE Seat Allotment 2024:
After submission of the choices filled by the candidates, authority will release the VITEEE Allotment list 2024 on the basis of candidates’ merits, choices and availability of seats. If the candidates are satisfied with the VITEEE 2024 Seat allotment, they will have the option to confirm their seats.
Step 4 – Document Upload and Verification:
In order to prove candidates eligibility, they have to upload some required documents. It is one of the essential parts of the VITEEE Counselling Document Verification Procedure 2024.
Documents Required for VITEEE Counselling verification 2024
There are some required documents candidates need to carry with them to the respective given institutes at the time of VIT Counselling document verification. It is expected that the following documents will be be needed at time of verification –
- VITEEE Hall Ticket 2024.
- VITEEE Counselling Admit Card
- VITEEE Result.
- Class 10th passing certificate or any certificate to prove the age of the candidate.
- Class 12th marksheet/ passing certificate.
- Class 12th Admit Card (For those candidates awaiting for their result).
- Caste Certificate (SC/ ST applicants).
- Qualifying exam marksheet (if any).
- Passport size photographs
- Aadhar Card (with photocopies)
- Nativity Certificate (for the candidates who are from Jammu Kashmir and the North East side, such as Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram and Sikkim).
