Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has begun the KTET 2024 registration on April 17, 2024. You will have to register online for Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) before the last date i.e. April 26, 2024.
After the last date is over, no one is allowed to do KTET registration April 2024. So, only successfully applied candidates will be eligible for appearing in Kerala TET exam 2024.

What is category system in KTET 2024 exam?
There are four categories in KTET exam:
- K-TET 1 or Category 1 is for the teachers of lower primary classes.
- K-TET 2 or Category 2 is for the teachers of upper primary classes.
- K-TET 3 or Category 3 is for the teachers of high school classes.
- K-TET 4 or Category 4 is for the teachers of language subjects including Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu. Specialist teachers and physical education teachers are also included in this category.
KTET Registration 2024 Fees
- General Category – Rs 500
- Reserved Category – Rs 250
This exam is conducted twice a year to assess the ability of candidates to teach in schools in Kerala. The exam duration for each category is 2 hours and 30 minutes and the qualifying marks are 60%.
