Understanding the “Zero Round” and Final Merit List
The FYJC online admission mechanism is broadly divided into specific streams and quotas.
- The Zero Round: This round specifically caters to institutional quota seats, which include Management, In-House, and Minority quotas.
- The Final Merit List: Following the provisional list released on May 15, students were given a window to submit correction requests or report discrepancies regarding their marks, category details, or reservation claims through the “Grievance Redressal” link. The list published on May 19 reflects the finalised, rectified rankings after resolving all submitted grievances.
Important Note for Zero Round Admitted Students:
According to official guidelines, students who secure and confirm their seats under the Round 0 quota must submit their original School Leaving Certificate to their respective allotted junior college within three weeks from their date of admission.
