Kendriya Vidyalaya Class 1 Admission Process

The KV admissions process for Class 1 is conducted in five lots. The admissions lot is divided into different categories. The details mentioned above will help candidates learn more about the Kendriya Vidyalaya admissions process 2024.

• First Round: The guidelines laid down by the exam conducting authority state that there is a reservation of about 25% of seats, wherein 10 out of 40 seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the SC/ST/EWS/BPL/OBC (non-creamy layer) or differently abled.
• Second Round: The second round consists of differently abled candidates along with candidates belonging to the unreserved category.
• Third Round: After the reserved categories and differently-abled categories have been allotted seats, the seats will be allotted to candidates belonging to Cat-1 and Cat-2 (Cat-1 to Cat-3 in the case of Project/IHL KV).
• Fourth Round: The RTE will release the list of all the candidates who have been elected under the reserved categories, and if there are seats left for people belonging to various categories, the seats that would be left vacant would be allotted to the reserved categories.
• Fifth Round: The fifth round states that seats will be allotted to only those candidates who belong to the unreserved category. Also, if seats are left for candidates belonging to the reserve categories in the last round, they must be kept vacant.
