MBSE HSSLC Syllabus 2025 – Scheme of Subjects
- Each student of MBSE class 12 will have to choose a total of 5 subjects.
- He/she will have to choose at least two languages out of English, Mizo, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Manipuri, Nepali, Khasi, Garo, Tynyidie.
- It is mandatory to choose English or Hindi out of two languages and the other one can be any of the above.
- At least three more subjects to be chosen from elective subjects.
- Examinations of General Studies, Work experience, Physical & Health Education will be assessed internally by the schools.
- Apart from the additional subject, a student can choose an additional subject from the elective subjects tabulated below:

How to apply for the change of subject in MBSE HSSLC 2025?
- In class 11, the students can contact the respective school principal to Change of subject(s).
- No student is allowed to change his/her subject after passing class 11.
- A student is not permitted to choose that subject in class 12, which he/she has not studied in class 11.
MBSE HSSLC Exam Pattern 2025
- MBSE HSSLC exam duration: 3 hours
- Total Marks: 100 marks
- Subjects with practicals:
- 70 marks for theory
- 30 marks for practical examination.
- Subjects without practicals:
- 90 marks for theory
- 10 marks for practical examination.
- Each student will have to secure Mizoram Board passing marks separately in theory and practical exams to pass a subject.
