NSO Exam Syllabus 2024 PDF – Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) has shared the NSO Syllabus 2024 for Class 1 to Class 12 through official website: sofworld.org.
SOF NSO 2024 Syllabus contains all the topics, sections, number of questions & marks per question, which students can read to get a clear idea about their SOF Olympiad Exam.
NSO 2024 Syllabus
The NSO Syllabus 2024 is the same for level 1 & level 2 examination, however, it will vary in the difficulty level of the questions. So, separate NSO 2024 answer key is released for each class.
SOF NSO 2024 Syllabus contains around 60% topics from the student’s class, & the remaining 40% from the previous class. However, the achievers section will only have questions from the current class. After NSO results 2024, the whole level 2 paper will be based on current class’ topics only.

FAQs Related to NSO Syllabus 2024 Class 1 to 12
How much time is given to solve each section in NSO Olympiad 2024?
As per SOF NSO Syllabus 2024, a total of 1 hour is given to solve the whole paper, however, there is no separate time limit for each section, but we can say that students must solve each section within 20 minutes to complete the paper on time.
Do Class 11 & 12 students have to attempt all sections?
Students of Class 11 & 12 have to attempt Physics & Chemistry section mandatorily, however, in the third section, they have the choice to select either mathematics or biology depending on their stream.
What type of questions are asked in SOF NSO Exam?
According to NSO Exam Pattern, the whole paper will contain objective type MCQ questions, in which, only an option will be correct.
Is there any negative marking in the NSO Olympiad?
No, there is no negative marking in NSO Olympiad 2024, in spite of MCQ based questions.
