CAT 2024 registration last date is expected to be around September 13, 2024. Students can fill CAT exam form for the exam to be held tentatively on November 24, 2024. More than 2 lakh students can fill CAT application form 2024 online on iimcat.ac.in.
To complete CAT application process, they also need to pay CAT registration fees which is Rs 2500 for general and Rs 1250 for SC/ST/OBC and reserved category students. The Common Admission Test fee is to be paid online while filling CAT Form 2024.
CAT Registration 2024 Date
Students must note that CAT Registration 2024 last date and apply before it. After the last date, no student is allowed to fill CAT 2024 form. A time of around one and a half months is given to complete the CAT exam registration 2024.

Qualification
- Have you completed the Graduation or Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute in any stream or discipline? If yes, then you fulfil the academic qualification.
OR - Are you studying in the final year of graduation? Then too, you can go for filling CAT form 2024.
Minimum marks in Graduation
- If you are a General category student and have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in graduation, then you are eligible.
- SC/ ST/ PwD can proceed with CAT exam registration 2024 with a minimum of 40% aggregate marks as well.

Is white background photo necessary for CAT?
As per previous year’s instructions, it is most preferred to have a photo with a white background as it gives a high contrast to the photo. If you do not have a white background photo, then you can get a photo clicked at the nearest photo studio and get its hard and soft copy.

Is blue background photo acceptable in CAT?
As per instructions, a candidate must upload his/her photo with a white background. But, if you have uploaded your photo with a blue background in CAT form 2024 and it is clearly visible, then your candidature will not be rejected, as per general understanding.
