Government Engineering College – Kozhikode

GEC is a public sector engineering institute established in 1999 by the Department of Technical Education under Government of Kerala. The institute is one among nine reputed colleges in Kerala that offers admission in Engineering to various departments. Mode of admission implemented in GEC, Kozhikode includes merit, management and self-financing. The college accepts KEAM 2025 scores and allot seats for students based on the marks, category, etc.

Government Engineering College – Thrissur

The institute was established in 1957 is the second-oldest engineering institute in Kerala after CET. The campus has been affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University since its inception.

The institute offers regular B.Tech courses in various departments including Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer science and Engineering, etc. The campus has gained accreditation from National Board of Accreditation, AICTE and Council of Architecture.

Government Engineering College, Thiruvananthapuram

The college was established in 1999 in Barton Hill and is one of the top notch institutes in the State of Kerala that finds accreditation with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. The campus offers several regular streams of Engineering including Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, etc. The courses offered here are NBA accredited and the institute is ranked second among 138 colleges based on Academic Performance Report released by the University.

NSS College of Engineering, Palakkad

Nair Service Society founded the fourth engineering education institute in Kerala in 1960. The campus is the pioneer institute being one among three Govt-aided engineering colleges in Kerala. Also the institute is first to gain NBA accreditation from AICTE. The institute opens its door for several UG programmes through the KEAM entrance exam and also offers many PG  programmes through GATE conducted by IIT. The college was affiliated to University of Kerala and contemporarily affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, since its inception.
