PSEB 12th Subject Rules for Science, Arts & Commerce
Punjab Secondary Education Board has determined 4 compulsory subjects for each student:- General English, General Punjabi or Punjab History and Culture, Environmental Education and Computer Science.
Students studying in science and arts stream must choose three elective subjects such as Chemistry, Physics, Biology or Mathematics for science stream and Geography, History Political Science, Economics or other subjects for arts stream.
Candidates enrolled in commerce stream must opt for 4 elective subjects such as Accountancy, Business studies, Economics, Fundamentals of E- Business.
PSEB Class 12 additional subject rules
As an additional subject of PSEB 12th syllabus 2025,
Science students can choose from Geography/Agriculture/Home Science/ Biology/ Maths Economics.
Commerce candidates can choose from Mathematics or Computer Science as their addination subject.
Students from arts streams are allowed to opt for any additional subject from their group such as Home Science, Sociology, Philosophy etc.
