- Student who appeared in March/April 2023 exams and got compartment in ONE subject in CBSE class 12 annual exam result can apply for compartment exam CBSE 12th.
OR - If anybody has got compartment in TWO subjects, then he/she can appear for ONE subject only.
OR - Student who appeared in 6 subjects and has scored CBSE passing marks in aggregate. But he/she is unable to clear ONE subject can fill CBSE Class 12 compartment application form 2023 under ‘improvement of Performance’ category.

How to apply for compartment exam CBSE Class 12 in year 2023?
Regular and Private students can fill CBSE Class 12 Compartment registration form 2023 by following the steps given below:
Filling CBSE Private Candidate Form 2023
- Go to the official website: cbse.gov.in.
- Click on the link of ‘New website’ and homepage of CBSE website will open on the screen.
- Scroll down and open the page of ‘Individual Candidate’.
- Now, open the link of CBSE Compartment application form 2023 Class 12th and registration form will be displayed on the screen.
- Enter your Roll No. School No., Centre No. as mentioned in the CBSE Class 12 Admit Card 2023.
- Enter your address and select the subject appropriately.
