IELTS Exam Pattern 2025 for Listening Section
In this section of the paper, the candidate is given four listening passages, out of which two will be monologues and the other two will be dialogues. Students will be allowed to listen to each paragraph only once. After listening to the paragraph, students need to answer different types of questions based on their understanding.
The questions can be of any type like MCQs, blank filling, short answer, detailed answers etc.
IELTS Exam Pattern 2025 for Reading Section
In this, candidates will be given three different paragraphs which can be taken from a newspaper, article, magazine, speech, advertisement, campaign etc.
Based on the reading of the passage, candidates need to answer different types of questions asked in this section.
IELTS Exam Pattern 2025 for Writing Section
In this section, candidates will be given a graph, a diagram, a case study, or a table based on which they need to write a short paragraph of about 150 words.
Secondly, they will be given a problem statement, a case study or an opinion based on which students need to write their views on it in about 250 words.
IELTS Exam Pattern 2025 for Speaking Section
This is the last section of the paper, it is an interview round, where the interviewer will first ask some general questions about the candidates and their friends and family.
After that, the interviewer gives the candidate a line or a topic based on which the student needs to speak for about two minutes. After speaking, the interviewer will ask some questions based on the topic to check if the candidate understood the topic or not.
