Address in CBSE Informal Letter Format:
The sender should begin the letter with the address. The address is always written on the left side of the paper.
Always remember that the address should be complete and clear so that the receiver will be able to reply to the sender’s letter.
Clearly mention house no., name of the city, and pin code in address.

Date in Informal Letter Format in CBSE:
The sender should write down the date below the address so that the receiver will come to know exactly on which date the letter has been written by the sender.
Use the following formats to mention the date:
10/11/2022 or 10th November 2022 or November 10, 2022.
Salutation:
The sender uses the qualifying terms while addressing to the receiver as the salutation of the informal letter shows how much he/she loves or respects the receiver.
For example- Dear, My dear, dearest …….
Dear Mr./ Ms./ Mrs.
Body of the Letter:
The informal letter is written in a colloquial tone. Therefore, begin your letter by asking about the health and well-being of the recipient to convey the message of love, respect and regards.
