NTA has released the JEE Mains 2025 exam pattern which consists of total questions of JEE Mains, marking scheme, etc. The JEE Main exam pattern 2025 is announced through official notice on the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in.

What’s New in JEE Main Exam Pattern 2025

  • JEE Main 2025 exam is a 3-hour entrance test with no breaks.
  • It contains two papers: Paper 1 (B.E/B.Tech) and Paper 2 (B.Arch or B.Plan).
  • Both papers will be conducted online using computers, as per NTA JEE Main 2025 exam pattern, with the exception of the B.Arch. drawing test.
  • National Testing Agency has introduced negative marking in JEE Main 2025 section B.

JEE Main 2025 Exam Pattern Paper 1 (B.E/B.Tech)

According to the JEE Main 2025 test format, each section for paper 1 consists of 20 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and 10 numerical value questions, of which, only 5 must be attempted.
