Jammu & Kashmir Board of Secondary Education will update the exam pattern for class 10 every year. Based on the revisions on exam pattern, the following features are found:
- As per revised exam pattern, the duration of the examination will be 3 hours.
- The JK Board had worked on equivalent distribution of questions among topics of the syllabus. It means, students need to give uniform importance on all topics included in the JKBOSE Class 10 syllabus 2025.
- Theory exams will be conducted for around 80 marks whereas remaining 20 marks will be included in internal assessment.
