Resolution of Tie-cases

Existence of tie-cases is occasional in AP EAPCET 2024 written marks. However, JNTU, Anantapur follows a few steps to break tie-cases among candidates. They are:

• Candidates who score higher on the AP EAPCET 2024 written exam are given higher rank to break the tie.
• If still a tie exists then AP EAPCET scores 2024 in mathematics are considered.
• Even if a tie exists then marks obtained in physics in AP EAPCET 2024 are considered among candidates.
• Further existence of tie is broken by comparing the qualifying marks in 12th Class results 2024. Candidates with higher percentage of aggregate marks are given higher rank.
• Even if ties still exist then the date of birth of candidates is considered. Older candidates are given higher rank to break the tie-case once for all.
