KCET Application Form 2024 Reopned): Apply Online/ Registration Last Date is March 20

Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released KCET application form 2024 tentatively on January 10, 2024 along with KCET notification 2024. Students willing to take the entrance exam should complete the KCET 2024 Application form filling process.
Last date has been extended to March 20 with the announcement that there will be no further extension.

Till March 18, 2024, a total of 3,75,399 candidates have registered for KCET exam 2024. This year, it is 1 lakh more number of students as compared to last year which is a record.

Minimum Qualification to Fill KCET 2024 Application Form

KEA had released KCET Application form 2024 to be filled by students aspiring for technical education in Karnataka. The exam body had claimed the following KCET 2024 eligibility to take the entrance exam. They are:

• Age: Candidates should have completed 17 years to take the exam.
• Education Required: Candidates should have passed class 10+2 studied in recognised institute or any equivalent education from recognised institute.
• Candidates who appeared in the Class 10+2 examination in 2024 expecting results may also apply KCET 2024.
• Karnataka State Open University aspirants are not allowed to take KCET. Only the regular batch students are allowed to apply for KCET Application form 2024.
• Candidates should have studied Physics/chemistry/ Biology/biotechnology as Main subjects and English as language paper in Class 10+2 Examination.
• Residentship: Students should be domicile resident of Karnataka or must have studied at least 7 years in the recognised institute of Karnataka.
• Wards of State Government and Central Government employees, CAPF Service and Members of Parliament within Karnataka State Constituencies.
• Nationality: Indian citizenship alone allowed as eligibility.

KCET 2024 Application Form Filling Process

Candidates shall undergo the following steps to fill KCET Application 2024 form as prescribed by KEA.

• Uploading Required Documents
• Paying Application form fee
• Taking print out.

Step 1: KCET Registration 2024

Candidates were undergone KCET 2024 Registration process before going for KCET Application form 2024 filling.

• Go to the official site kea.kar.nic.in
• Click ‘Register’ tab in the home page
• Enter basic information like name, date of birth, father’s name, mail ID, contact number, address, academic details, etc
• An application number is sent to the registered Email ID.
• Now, create a password and confirm it.
• Login using the application number and create password from your mail ID.
• Thus login credentials are created.
• KCET Registration 2024 process is completed.

Step 2: KCET Application form 2024 Filling

Soon after KCET 2024 Registration got over, candidates had logged in to fill KCET 2024 application form. Steps are as follows:

• Log on to the official portal
• View the ‘Apply Here’ and click on it.
• A new screen will display the KCET 2024 Application form.
• Fill in all the blanks with relevant details such as name, father’s name, date of birth, academic details, contact details, and other personal details.
• Upload required documents to support KCET Application 2024 form filling.
• Check all the documents are entered in the correct format as prescribed.
• Click the ‘Submit’ button.

Step 3: Documents Uploading

• Transfer certificate from school of education last studied

Step 4: Paying KCET Application form 2024 fee

KEA had prescribed a respective KCET 2024 Application form fee for candidates based on their category. It is necessary for students to remit the application form fee to take the entrance exam.

Candidates had made their KCET Application 2024 form fee either online or offline. Payment via offline involved DD whereas online payment involved debit/credit card/net banking.

Step 5: Print Out of KCET Application form 2024

Soon after submission of KCET 2024 Application form, a confirmation mail was sent by KEA to the examinee’s authorised Mail ID. Candidates may take a print out of the confirmation mail for future references.

KCET 2024 Correction Window

KEA had opened the application correction window on the official portal in March 2024. Candidates were logged in to their account to view and edit KCET Application form 2024. However, all details were not edited but KEA had allowed certain fields for correction/editing. Candidates had visited the authorised page and pledged their correction or changes that were done. • In the home page, click ‘Edit Application Number’
• Enter User ID to generate OTP.
• Input the OTP generated in the registered mobile number
• Now, KCET 2024 Application form is viewed with access for editing
• Edit required changes and click ‘Submit’ button
• Now, a confirmation page is displayed for editing.
• Save and Download the confirmation page for future references.
