• The primary eligibility criteria is that Symbiosis will not accept the scores of any exam other than SNAP. It is mandatory for candidates to sit for the SNAP examination.
• A candidate must have finished his or her degree of graduation from any recognized university.
• Candidates who are in the final year of their college can also apply for the entrance test.
• The candidates are required to get at least a score of 50% in the qualifying examination.
• Candidates belonging to the SC and ST categories are required to get a score of 45% in the qualifying examination.
• International applicants who have attained their education abroad are required to get a certificate from the Association of Indian Universities. 

Eligibility Criteria for Institutes of Symbiosis 

The eligibility criteria for the institutions that come under the aegis of Symbiosis International University consist of 16 colleges that accept SNAP scores, but that does not mean that their cut-offs and procedures of admission match.

Eligibility Criteria for International Students 

The eligibility criteria for foreign nationals or international students at the postgraduate level are divided into two categories. The categories are:

• Foreign National (FN)
• Person of Indian Origin (PIO)
• Non-Resident Indian(NRI)

Foreign Nationals (FN) are eligible for admission if they have a foreign passport, and PIO candidates are eligible if they have a PIO card and are citizens of a country other than India.NRIs are also eligible for admission if they have appeared for the 10+2 examination or graduated from any other country. It is mandatory for the candidates to have either done their 12th grade or graduated from any other country.

Apart from this, it is mandatory for NRI candidates who have appeared for their graduation in India to appear for the SNAP test.
