SOF IMO Syllabus 2022-23 for Class 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12

IMO Syllabus 2022 PDF – Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) has prescribed the IMO 2022 Syllabus for all the classes through their official website that is sofworld.org.

It consists of the SOF Olympiad‘s section-wise marks distribution, number of questions, weightage and all important topics of IMO sample paper 2022-23.

SOF IMO Syllabus 2022-23

In general, the IMO SOF Syllabus 2022 majorly contains around 60% topics from the present class and rest 40% from the previous class to maintain a balance for all students. Thus, practicing mock papers can give a clear idea to the student about the type of questions which will be asked in his/her class’ paper. IMO 2022 Syllabus and Pattern for Level 2 examination

SOF IMO Level 2 examination is not conducted for Class 1 and 2, it is only there for Class 3 to Class 12 students. Students who qualify in the Level 1 examination by scoring at least the IMO Cut Off 2022-23. 

The IMO Syllabus 2022-23 is same for both the levels, but the difference is in the difficulty level and examination pattern:

  1. Is the IMO Syllabus 2022-23 same for both Levels?

    All the topics and chapters which are mentioned in SOF IMO Syllabus 2022-23 are the same for both, level 1 and level 2 examinations. However the level of difficulty does not remain the same. The IMO Level 2 examination has slightly more difficult questions as compared to level 1 questions.

  2. Which books must be referred to cover the IMO 2022 Syllabus?

    In order to cover the SOF IMO 2022 Syllabus, students must note down the topics and practice all of them through respective NCERT or school curriculum books. However, in order to have complete preparation, students can also take preparation material sold by SOF. Students can also practice through previous year papers to get a clear idea of the questions.
