WBJEE Counselling 2024 Date, Registration Schedule & Procedure

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) will start the WBJEE Counselling 2024 registration in July 2024. Candidates are required to visit the official website and register for the process. The last date for WBJEE counselling registration is July 2024. A mock WBJEE counselling result 2024 will be published in July 2024.

After the WBJEE seat allotment process, the authorities will release the opening and closing ranks. The WBJEE counselling process will be conducted for admissions into various programmes offered by the participating institutes. The WBJEE 2024 counselling process will be conducted in online mode on the official website of WBJEE Exam. 

The counselling process will be completed through several steps, such as WBJEE 2024 Counselling registration, fees payment, filling of choices, WBJEE seat allotment, document verification etc. In this article, we have provided the full procedure of WBJEE Counselling 2024.

WBJEE 2024 Counselling Dates

The WBJEE 2024 seat allotment process will be done on the basis of the candidates’ rank, obtained in the WBJEE exam result. The candidates who are eligible for WBJEE counselling 2024, must know the counselling process and schedule.

WBJEE Counselling Schedule for JEE Main Candidates

The candidates who have qualified JEE Main exam, are also eligible for WBJEE Counselling 2024. The Counselling schedule of WBJEE 2024 for JEE Main candidates are given in the table below.

WBJEE Counselling Procedure 2024

The WBJEE counselling process 2024 is conducted in online mode through some steps. Candidates need to follow all the steps to get admission into their desired courses.

Step 1 – Registration : The first step of  WBJEE Counselling Process 2024 is completing registration for WBJEE counselling. The candidates who have achieved WBJEE 2024 Cutoff marks and got selected will have to complete their WBJEE Counselling registration 2024 on the official website: wbjee.nic.in. To register for WBJEE 2024 Counselling, candidates need to follow the given steps – 

• Visit the official site of WBJEE – ‘wbjee.nic.in’.
• Click on the link of WBJEE 2024 Counselling Registration.
• Click on ‘New Candidate Registration’. Registration option will be available for both WBJEE 2024 candidates and JEE Main 2024 candidates.
• Enter WBJEE/ JEE Main registration Number, Roll Number, Name, Date of birth and Captcha Code.
• Click on ‘Submit’ Button. 

Note : You will get an ID & Password after the completion of Registration. Note that for future use.

Step 2 – Fees Payment : Candidates need to pay a fee of Rs 500 as WBJEE Counselling fee. This fee payment is mandatory to be eligible for next rounds of WBJEE 2024 Counselling Process.

Step 3 – Choice Filling and Locking : After completing the payment of WBJEE Counselling Fee, Candidates need to choose the courses and colleges where they want to take admission. It is suggested to all the candidates to choose the maximum possible number of colleges/ Institutes so that they always get a seat.

After completion of the choices, candidates have to lock their choices. If any candidate fails to lock the choices before the last date, the system will take the filled choices as the final choice.

Note : For Choice filling and locking, candidates need to access WBJEE login portal with the ID & Password they get at time of Registration.

Step 4 – WBJEE Seat Allotment 2024 : The WBJEE exam authority will publish the WBJEE seat allotment list 2024 on the basis of candidates WBJEE rank / JEE Rank, availability of seats and the choices made by the candidates. There are three rounds of WBJEE 2024 seat allotment; the authority will publish three lists one by one.

Candidates can check their allotment by logging in with the given ID and Password. The WBJEE Seat allotment letter will not be sent to the candidates. Candidates are required pay a fee of Rs. 5000 as the WBJEE seat acceptance fee. After paying the fees, candidates will be able to download their WBJEE Seat Allotment Letter 2024 from the website.

Step 5 – Document Verification : The final step is about the documents verification of the candidates. Candidates need to report to the centres given by the WBJEE authority for document verification. In this step, authority will check the authentication of the details and documents provided by the candidates. If nothing is found wrong at the time of WBJEE Document Verification Process, candidates need to pay a fee for the type of institute they have allotted.
