XAT Selection Process 2025: Xavier Aptitude Test commonly known as XAT is a national level exam conducted for admission into different MBA / PGDM courses. Step by step full Procedure for XAT Selection 2025

The candidates will have to follow all these following steps to take admission for MBA/PGDM courses into XAT 2025 Colleges. The full XAT 2025 selection procedure is given below, read it carefully.

There are mainly two rounds of the XAT selection Process 2025. If anyone fails to fulfil the first round of the selection process, he/she will not be able to go for the second round of XAT selection process.

Step 1 – XAT 2025 exam & Result:

Exam: The first step of the XAT 2025 selection procedure starts with the XAT exam. If anyone fails to give the exam, he/she can’t go to the next step of the XAT selection process 2025. Students must carry their XAT admit card 2025 while appearing for the XAT 2025 exam in online computer based mode.

Result: After the exam completion, the result and XAT 2025 answer key will be published within one month from the date of examination. Most probably the results will be published in the third or fourth week of January. Candidates can check their result (scorecard) by visiting the official website of XAT exam (xatonline.in) and by entering XAT 2025 registration ID & password in login window.

Cutoff: After the result is published, the XAT 2025 cut off will be declared by XLRI Jamshedpur for the current academic year. Cut-off will be different for different institutes. To enter into the second round of the XAT selection procedure 2025, candidates must have to clear the XAT 2025 cut off marks. The candidates who fail to clear the XAT 2025 cut off will not be able to further the selection round of XAT 2025 selection procedure.

Step 2 – GD & PI Test :

As per XAT exam pattern 2025, the second round of XAT 2025 selection process starts after aptitude test result. This step is mainly about testing interpersonal skills. This step contains Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).

Group Discussion : 

In the Group discussion category, in each discussion around 8-10 students will take part together and one topic will be given. Time will be 15-25 minutes for each discussion. Group discussion is mainly about testing the candidates in terms of self confidence, quality of words and awareness etc.

Personal Interview :

In personal interviews, candidates have to give an interview in front of some interviewers. In this category, a candidate’s interpersonal skills are to be tested.

Step 3 – Final Merit List :

After all the above three steps are completed, the final step of XAT selection Process 2025 comes. XLRI will shortlist a list of candidates  as the XAT 2025 final merit list. The XAT final merit list 2025 will be made on the basis of XAT 2025 exam score and GD & PI obtained score.

The candidates whose names come in the final merit list will get the chance for admission for the offering courses into various institutes associated with XAT examination. Generally, XAT selection procedure 2025 ends with this step. After selecting in the XAT 2025 final merit list, documents verification will start for selected candidates.
