GMAT Syllabus 2024 – To prepare for the GMAT exam, candidates should first review the GMAT 2024 syllabus. The Quantitative segment, Verbal section, Integrated Reasoning component, and Analytical Writing Assessment are the four sections of the GMAT course. GMAT Focus Edition Syllabus
GMAC has released the GMAT focus edition syllabus which has some changes. The GMAT focus edition syllabus slightly varies from the current GMAT syllabus.

GMAT Syllabus 2024: Four Segments
The GMAT Exam Syllabus is divided into four components:-

GMAT Syllabus 2024: Exam Pattern
Writing, Reasoning, Verbal, and Quantitative skills are the four areas of the GMAT exam pattern 2024. Furthermore, the GMAT is a 3 hour 7 minutes Computer Adaptive Test that consists of both objective and subjective questions. There are 91 questions in the assessment.

GMAT Analytical Writing Syllabus 2024
The Analytical Writing portion may include themes for the candidate to write about, or a piece from which questions will be asked. The candidate will be expected to respond to the text in question. Because the passage’s topic could be anything of interest, the syllabus for this subject is vast and diversified.
The primary idea is to focus on the structure of the answer rather than the arguments given. Keep in mind that this is an assessment of your style of writing, not your opinions, so be objective.
- Argumentative Essay
You must analyse the logic and then present your argument in this area. Keep in mind that you’ll be graded on how well-reasoned you think a certain argument is. Also, examine to see if the argument is logically valid and avoid making any unfounded assumptions. Consider how syntax and grammar can be used to support or refute the critique offered in the question.
- Issue an Essay
You must compose an essay on the topic assigned to you in this section. The candidate must articulate his or her opinion in around 600 words. Candidates have the option of expressing their support for the stated statement or their own personal perspective. However, because you will be graded on this basis, make sure to present your perspective in a well-structured manner.
GMAT Integrated Reasoning Syllabus 2024
The GMAT Syllabus has been updated recently to include a portion of Integrated Reasoning. This component evaluates the applicants’ ability to assess data presented in the form of a table or a graph. The section consists 12 questions of the following type in this section:
- Table Analysis
This component assesses applicants’ ability to sort and analyse data in a table, such as a spreadsheet, to find the most important information or the information that satisfies specified criteria.
- Two-day part analysis
This test assesses a candidate’s ability to tackle complex problems. The issues can be numerical, verbal or a combination of both. The format is easily adaptable and can accommodate a vast range of topics. The capability of the applicants to analyse trade-offs, discover linkages between two items and solve simultaneous equations, is assessed.
3. Multi-Source Reasoning
This section assesses candidates’ ability to investigate data from a variety of sources (tables, visuals, text passages, or a mix of all three) and carefully analyse each source of information in order to answer numerous questions. Candidates may be asked to make inferences, and others may demand you to judge the importance of facts. Candidates will be required to spot disparities across several sources of data in a few questions.
4. Graphics Interpretation:
It assesses candidates’ ability to deduce relationships and make inferences from data provided in a graph or graphical representation (scatter plot, x/y graph, bar chart, pie chart, or statistical curve distribution).
GMAT Quantitative Reasoning Syllabus 2024
Problem Solving and data sufficiency are the two divisions of the Quantitative Section. Candidates have to assess 18 questions in the problem solving part and 18 questions in the data sufficiency section. The questions will be objective in nature, with multiple choice responses. The questions will be based on the following maths syllabus:

GMAT Verbal Reasoning Syllabus 2024
The Verbal Skills segment consists of 36 multiple-choice questions. Reading Comprehension, Critical Reasoning, and Sentence Correction are the three sections of this section. This component assesses the applicants’ ability to read and comprehend written information, as well as the logical relationship between the passage’s arguments and concepts.
- Critical Thinking
It assesses the applicants’ ability to construct and analyse arguments as well as formulate and evaluate a plan of action. The following are the main sorts of questions that were tested:
