MBBS Course Fees 2024 – Students who are aspiring to pursue their career in the medical field must know the MBBS fees which they require in order to get good studies in India. The cost of MBBS admission in India has always been a bit costlier and for the same reason, it is necessary that students must know each and every option they have so that they can choose the best college which is affordable to them.
Seeing the variance of MBBS Course fees in private and government colleges, NMC has decided to make the MBBS Course fees of half of the private colleges equal to that of the government colleges.

MBBS Course Fees in AIIMS Delhi
AIIMS Delhi is one of the best medical institutes of our country and its MBBS Course fees are decided by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences for all the branches of AIIMS across the country. Despite being a top college, its MBBS Course fees is as low as Rs 5856 for the whole year which excludes the hostel fees.
For the students who are applying under the NRI Quota, the MBBS Course Fees for them is 75,000 USD for the whole course.
Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) is also one of the most reputed medical colleges of our country which admits students based on NEET entrance exam only.
The MBBS Course Fees for both the branches of JIPMER is Rs 11,620 for one year which excludes hostel fees of Rs 14,000 per year. However, for students taking admission under NRI quota, they need to pay 75,000 USD for the entire course.
There are 42 deemed universities in our country which offer MBBS Courses to the medical students. The MBBS Course fees in the deemed universities can vary largely between Rs 2,50,000 to Rs 25,00,000. Though the MBBS course fees in the deemed universities is usually on the higher side.

MBBS Course Fees under All India Quota Seats
Every year, DGHS conducts the counselling of the NEET students for the All India Quota Seats on behalf of MCC. All the states which are participating in the All India Quota counselling must submit their MBBS Course fees structure to MCC beforehand for the seats and colleges they are offering in the counselling.
The MBBS Course fees for AIQ seats can vary from as low as Rs 240 for the whole year in Maulana Azad College and can go as high as Rs 1,12,500 for one year in Goa Medical College. Is the MBBS Course fees for private medical colleges and other government colleges same?
No, there is always a difference between the MBBS Course fees in private and government colleges, the fees in private colleges are usually on a higher side. Though NMC has made the fees of around 50% of private colleges equal to that of government colleges.
How will the security fees taken during counselling be refunded?
The security fee deposited by the candidate in the counselling round will be adjusted in the first year course fee by the college alloted or else, if no seat is allotted then the security fee will be refunded to the bank account given to DGHS.
What are the different categories of seats in Private medical colleges?
Usually most of the private medical colleges have four quotas for their MBBS Course seats which are Management Quota, NRI Quota, Government Quota and Other Quota. Though it’s not necessary that all private colleges will have all these quotas.
