NEET 2023 – NEET is an exam conducted by National Testing Agency( NTA) for the admission into MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and other nursing courses offered by medical colleges in India. 

NEET exam 2023 is conducted once a year in both offline and online modes. This 720 marks MCQ paper has 200 questions out of which 180 are to be attempted. Based on the marks and AIR, candidates are called for the NEET counseling process.

The Application form is released during the first week of April. The NEET 2023 registration last date is expected to be in the third week of May. NTA will release NEET 2023 admit card in the first week of July. NEET exam 2023 will be held in the third week of July and it will be for 3 hours and 20 minutes (200 minutes). The result will be announced in August or September.

NEET 2023 Application Process 

Following are the steps to apply for the NEET 2023. 

  • Register for NEET 2023 and fill up the form. 
  • Upload the images and documents required while filling up the form.
  • Pay fees for the application.

Documents required while filling up the form – one Identity proof (Adhaar Card, Passports, Bank Passbook, Ration Card or any other government photo ID card) and images of thumb impression.

NEET 2023 Syllabus

To ace the NEET question paper 2023, aspirants should be familiar of the syllabus of the 11th and 12th classes. Just like the previous year this year too the NEET question paper 2023 will be divided into four sections (physics, chemistry, zoology, and botany) with 50 questions each.

NEET 2023 Admit Card 

NTA issues admit cards for NEET 2023 to registered students after the aspirants are done with their registration and correction process. NEET 2023 Admit cards are provided by the official website. Students should check their information on the hall ticket. Aspirants have to carry their admit cards to their NEET exam centre. The admit card for NEET 2023 would be available by the first week of July.

NEET 2023 Answer Key 

NTA releases the answer key after a few days of exam. The students can then check their answers to the questions they have attempted. The first answer key can be questioned by the student after paying the non refundable fees of Rs. 200. The final answer key will be released a few hours before the announcement of the result. This answer key can’t be questioned by the students. 

NEET 2023 Result

NEET 2023 releases its result on its official website neet.nta.nic.in and the result could be downloaded up to 90 days from the result announcement. It is valid for one year for students across the country. For students wishing to pursue studies abroad, it is valid for 3 years.

Aspirants can check their NEET exam result by following the steps given below.

  • Visit the official website neet.nta.nic.in.
  • Click on the link “Download Scorecard for NEET UG 2023”.
  • Enter your application number, date of birth, and the security pin.
  • NEET scorecard will be displayed on the screen. 

NEET 2023 Cutoff

NEET 2023 cutoff is the minimum cutoff the aspirant must secure in order to get admission into the medical colleges. The cutoff will be released by authorities along with the NEET merit list 2023.

NEET 2023 Counseling 

NTA announces NEET 2023 counseling dates after the NEET result on their website. Seats are allocated according to their rank in the NEET exam. NEET 2023 counseling procedure would be carried out through online mode. The tentative date for NEET 2023 counseling would be around September 2023. The counseling procedure for NEET 2023 will be carried out for two types of seats – AIQ seats and State quota seats.
