Step 1: Registration for Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2025
To participate in the Maharashtra NEET 2025 Counselling, registration is the first step. It involves:
- Visit official site www.info.mahacet.org.
- In the home page, click ‘Register’ tab.
- Enter basic information like name, father’s name, date of birth, contact number, mail ID.
- An OTP is sent along with registration/application number through Mail ID.
- Receiving the OTP, Create a password.
- Confirm and Re-confirm it.
- Now, registration Login Credential is created.
Step 2: Choice Filling
The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) activates choice filling windows after the release of Maharashtra NEET merit list 2025. Candidates should choose their choice of course and college/University through a slot booking window. Candidates should rush to book their slots as soon as the window opens. It enables the candidates to choose top colleges and leading courses.
Step 3: Seat Allotment Round
As per schedule, DMER, Maharashtra will conduct seat allotment through specified rounds. Seat allotment is done based on the number of candidates applied for, seats available, etc. Candidates can accept the allotted seat or switch to further rounds of seat allotment. The vacant seat is now allotted to some other candidate on their desire.
Step 4: Document Verification
Candidates who accept the allotted seat through round 1 session should submit the following documents at the counselling board and at the reporting institute. They are:
- Class 10 and 10+2 mark sheets
- Transfer certificate of previous studied institution
- Caste certificate
- Income certificate
- Seat allotment letter

Step 5: Reporting to College/University
Candidates who accept the seat allotment letter given by DMER, Maharashtra should report to the specified college within specified time.
