Maharashtra MBBS Admission 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for Maharashtra NEET admission 2024 candidates should make sure that they are eligible for the same. In order to know the NEET eligibility criteria candidates can refer to the table below:

Maharashtra NEET Admission 2024 eligibility criteria

Nationality	The candidates belonging to Indian nationals, Overseas Citizen Of India (OCI), and outside Maharashtra are eligible for the admissions.
Domicile	The candidate should belong to the Maharashtra state or stay in the state for a minimum of 10 years.
Age	The candidate must be a minimum of 17 years of age.
Educational qualifications	The candidate should be a class 12th passed from a school located in Maharashtra, scoring a minimum of 40% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
NEET Cutoff	The candidate is eligible for the Maharashtra MBBS admission 2024 only if he/she scores according to the NAT NEET cutoff.

Maharashtra MBBS Admission form 2024

In order to take admitted to the Maharashtra NEET 2024 candidates need to fill out the application forms which will be released on its official website, mahacet.org. Candidates can visit the website and follow the following steps given below in order to fill out the application form.

• Visit the official website and click on the application form option.
• After getting the form, start filling it out by providing important details such as name, parent’s name, category, etc.
• Provide other details such as the application form number, DOB, state, 10th & 12th qualifying marks, etc.
• Complete the form by providing the category and NEET reservation details.
• Now, provide all necessary documents as asked in the form and upload them.
• As soon as the form is complete, candidates will be directed to the payment page. A payment of Rs 1,000 is to be made through a debit/credit card.

Maharashtra MBBS/NEET Merit List 2024

The merit list for Maharashtra NEET 2024 will be published by DMER, Maharashtra on the basis of applications received scores, Eligibility criteria, and document verification. The Maharashtra NEET rank list 2024 contains the name, category, gender, marks, region, NRI status, NEET marks, ranks, and remarks.

Admissions will be conducted on the basis of the merit list only. Selected candidates will be called for the counseling process by the authorities at their respective colleges. The merit list for 2024 has not yet been released the candidates will be notified as soon as the list is out.

Maharashtra NEET counseling 2024

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is responsible for conducting the Maharashtra NEET counseling 2024 for 15% All India Quota Seats and DMER is responsible for conducting the Maharashtra NEET counseling 2024 for the 85% state quota seats.

The NEET counselling process will take place over four rounds and a mop-up round. Candidates need to choose the courses and colleges they wish to attend during the counseling process.

After the Maharashtra NEET counseling process, the seat allotment list of the candidates will be released according to which the candidates need to report to their allotted colleges.
