The questions were doable, and there was nothing extremely difficult for the candidates to solve. There were not a lot of questions about analytical reasoning. The number of questions that candidates could have easily attempted is 11.
- Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation: It is important for candidates to note that the QA section consisted of 16 questions and the DI section consisted of 12 questions out of all the 28 questions that were asked in the exam. The various topics asked in this section were arithmetic, numbers, probability, and caselets for candidates to solve. The difficulty level of the XAT 2022 QA section was easy to moderate in comparison to previous years. Candidates could have easily attempted 16–18 questions in this section.
- General Knowledge: The general knowledge section consisted of 25 questions, and candidates could have easily attempted 8 to 10 questions. The difficulty level of the section was moderate. It was similar to the GK section of the XAT 2021 exam.
